Medievalstuck: Time's Knight by Oreramar Medievalstuck: Time's Knight by Oreramar
I stuffed him in chainmail. I put him on a horse. I even managed a few little pieces of armor here and there. And yet I couldn't get rid of those sunglasses. They are Dave. There is no Dave without the glasses, I swear.

Also, only Dave could raise a sword in a rousing salute on a rearing horse with dramatic lighting streaming in behind him and maintain such a deadpan expression. I mean, he's just... :l with invisible eyes.

This was a full day project. I'm not sure I ever want to draw chainmail again, at least not without first studying the hell out of it. How do those links fit together?!

That said, enjoy, and check out my other artwork! I've got fanart, original art, scribbly art, prints available on dA, and I'm considering commissions (feel free to PM me any time to discuss this if you're curious or interested).

This would go very nicely next to Hussie's painting of the football guy on the horse with orange muppet hair! xD

This is an ironic stunt, of course. At least that's what he'd tell people. Because he's secretly wanted to do this seriously ever since he found out his Sburb title. That's my headcanon and I'm sticking to it.

It's common knowledge that all Americans secretly want to be knights the same way all British people secretly want to be cowboys.

And Dave got his wish. Lucky bug.

But can you imagine if "Cowboy" was a class? Cowboy of Hope. Cowboy of Rage. Cowboy of Time.

Question then is, how to convert that ten-gallon hat into a ten-gallon God-Hood?

It would probably be something more dignified and badass, like "Rancher" or "herdsman" or "wrangler".

And another thing; there's a Page and a Knight, but why not a Squire? Or, going with the medieval-type classes, a Baron? An Earl (okay, maybe that's a bit lame)? I hear Monk is a popular fanon class, and everyone speculates that uu's class will be Lord. Oh, how about a Ranger?

"Wrangler of Breath/Life/Doom/etc." I like it. And it'd be..."One who alters the course of X/brings X to others" or something like that.

Monk is probably popular because people keep getting that result in that online title test. XD

Though I did notice the lack of Squire. Apparently you get to skip a step. And there are too many medieval titles to be bothered with, really. Like "Vassal" or "Serf," for instance. "Princess" as the counterpart to "Prince," and "King" and "Queen" for epic classes.

I like Ranger. You could also have a Watchman/Guard. Or a Judge.

I'm with those speculating "Lord of Time." The whole "Lord English" thing just begs for that title.

Sentry might be a good one. Perhaps "one who defends the X of others". I also like the idea of an active/passive pair of classes where the descriptions are "one who nurtures and feeds one's own X" and "one who nurtures and feeds the X of others". Don't know what they'd be called, though. They could go either way in terms of positivity or negativity, too; like rage and doom as apposed to hope and life.

I subscribe to that too, but mainly because I don't think Hussie could resist the obligatory "Time Lord" joke. I mean, for goodness' sake, he named the firefly Serenity.

Sentry: "One who defends X or defends others by X." :)

As for nurturing/feeding, I can't begin to guess what title that could be. :?

I hadn't considered that joke! Oh, dear...well, at least in that case I can tell my Dr. Who-loving, Homestuck-oblivious friend that the webcomic I read has its own Time Lord, don't you know. :D
